Course Description
Course information provided by the 2014-2015 Catalog.
Introductory course on the theory of quantum mechanics. Topics include waves, Schrodinger's equation and the concept of the wavefunction, simple potentials, and the harmonic oscillator model. Emphasis is on developing an intuitive understanding of quantum mechanics.
Prerequisites/Corequisites Prerequisite: PHYS 2213 or PHYS 2217. Corequisite: AEP 4210, or permission of instructor.
When Offered Fall. (Weeks 1-7); Summer. (Early summer)
Seven Week - First. Choose one lecture and one discussion.
