Course Description
Course information provided by the 2014-2015 Catalog.
Introduction to linear algebra, including the study of vector spaces, linear transformations, matrices, and systems of linear equations. Additional topics are quadratic forms and inner product spaces, canonical forms for various classes of matrices and linear transformations.
Prerequisites/Corequisites Prerequisite: MATH 2210, MATH 2230, MATH 2310, or MATH 2940.
Forbidden Overlaps Forbidden Overlap: Students may not receive credit for both MATH 4310 and MATH 4330.

When Offered Fall.
Comments Undergraduates who plan to attend graduate school in mathematics should take MATH 4330–MATH 4340 instead of MATH 4310–MATH 4320.
