Course Description
Course information provided by the 2014-2015 Catalog.
Provides an introduction in practical poultry medicine by a combination of lectures, discussions, and laboratory sessions including postmortem examinations. Students also visit hatcheries, broiler, layer, and turkey farms.
Prerequisites/Corequisites Prerequisite: VTMED 5510. Recommended prerequisite: VTMED 6522.
Permission Note Enrollment limited to: third- and fourth-year veterinary students.
When Offered Fall.
Comments Two-week rotation that takes place at University of St. Hyacinthe or University of Guelph in alternating years.
