This course offers a graduate-level introduction to the core theoretical models and empirical methods of industrial organization. The course is designed to equip students with tools for structural empirical research on questions both within and outside of industrial organization. Theoretical topics include monopoly pricing, dynamic competition, and entry games. Empirical methods covered include demand estimation and estimation of dynamic discrete choice models.


Prerequisites ECON 6090, ECON 6100.
