Handstands and Partner Acrobatics

In this course you'll dive deep into the disciplines of handstands and partner acrobatics. We'll use conditioning, flexibility, and body awareness to open up the pathways to a successful handstand practice. In partner acrobatics, learn to base, fly, build, and play with different shapes drawing from practices of Acroyoga style movements, partner balances, and human pyramids. No experience is necessary to participate, and all skills can be modified for different levels of fitness. This class will take place at Circus Culture, transportation provided.


Fees Course fee, $390. for instruction, transportation, and equipment.

    Course fee: $390. This class will meet in the basement of Bartels Hall, B01, for the first class, then travel to Circus Culture in downtown Ithaca. Transportation is provided.
    Drop Deadline: Wednesday, September 2, 2026. Students will be responsible for the course fee and assessed a $50 late drop fee if they do not drop by the deadline. Attendance is required.
