Course information provided by the 2026-2027 Catalog.

Evidence-based Sexual Violence Prevention and Resistance examines sexual assault on college campuses and the complex social dynamics and cultural expectations that contribute to its persistence. The course is organized into interactive sections built around new evidence-based and theory-informed prevention and resistance programs. Within these sections, students critically explore the impact of sexual violence while building practical skills related to sexual decision-making, bystander engagement, and healthy relationships. This discussion- and application-based course centers knowledge, empowerment, and personal agency as essential outcomes.
