Course Description
Course information provided by the 2019-2020 Catalog.
In-depth look at ovine and caprine endoparasites of major importance in North America and Europe. Details of taxonomy, biology, epidemiology, pathology, host immunity, clinical presentation, and preventative and curative treatment. Consideration of efficacy of available parasiticides. Information from studies reported in primary literature will be reviewed where applicable.
Prerequisites/Corequisites Prerequisite: VETMI 7440 or permission of instructor required.

Instruction Mode: Hybrid - Online & In Person
Enrollment limited to: MPS-Veterinary Parasitology students. Attendance on Saturday, March 7 from 7:30am - 3:30pm is required for all students. A schedule of the day’s learning activities (i.e. lectures, guest speakers, group work) will be provided upon arrival.
