In this class you'll learn about upper level introduction to cutting edge topics of interest to biological engineering. We will connect relevant themes and concepts from the BEE curriculum to recent developments in areas of cellular and molecular engineering, learning how to make relevant and lasting connections between the fundamental concepts (biological systems, genetics, metabolic networks) for producing commodity chemicals and pharmaceuticals, and study mathematical models of gene regulation.
Prerequisites background equivalent to: BEE 2600; BIOMG 3300; MATH 2930 and MATH 2940; or permission of instructor.
Last 4 Terms Offered 2026SP, 2025FA, 2024SP, 2023SP
Learning Outcomes
