Course information provided by the 2026-2027 Catalog.

Research is no longer only the researcher's job. As research decentralizes, PMs, designers, marketers, and engineers increasingly become people who do research. This course covers the fundamentals of research design, core methods, shaping insights, and building a narrative. Throughout, we'll discuss where AI helps—or gets in the way. Expect a collaborative, hands-on course: user interviews, survey design, and team critiques. It's designed for anyone who wants to influence product & business decisions with research.
