An introduction to programming taught in Python. Emphasizes practical code design skills and data processing. Topics will include functions, conditionals, loops, basic data structures, and writing to and from files. In addition to writing code, the class will focus on skills critical to AI-enabled development, such as writing specifications, reading code, and reflecting on design choices. Students will be prepared to take further programming-intensive INFO classes.
